The iPhone

Once she had to crank it
   And got a party line.
Then times began to change
   For a dial, she pined.

Next she got a princess
   It was slim-lined, you see,
She had to keep up-dated.
   To be current was key!

Now they've made an iPhone.
It's for that she has asked
She says she must have it,
   Before her time has passed.

She now has the iPhone.
   She's loving it I see.
Grandma's got an iPhone,
   So, Mom, why  can't we?
